Monique Tissen was born on September 3, 1971, in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, where she also grew up. She earned her Mavo and Havo diplomas at the Stedelijke Scholengemeenschap Nijmegen. After obtaining her executive secretary diploma from the Schoevers Institute and her accounting degree, she worked at several offices in Nijmegen.
At 25, she earned her diploma as an aerobics instructor from the A.F.N., followed by several other certificates. In her hometown and in Deventer, she taught group classes ranging from beginner to advanced in aerobics, step, muscle training and street dance, and was also a certified Les Mills BodyPump instructor. Those years were filled with hard work and plenty of sweat, but also with joy, passion and goosebumps and unforgettable moments. During that time, she mastered cueing, the most important skill to ensure choreography flows perfectly with the music from start to finish. s
She even taught at an international level. Sadly, after many years, a severe neck injury forced her to stop ending her dream of becoming a presenter.
In 2022, she began DJing, quickly mastering the craft and deciding to earn her DJ certificate to gain recognition and further develop her skills. Drawing on her experience from the aerobics world, she maintained her love for music with a raw edge, making techno her favorite style. Over the years, she's released numerous sets and gained growing recognition worldwide. It''s been a journey filled with challenges, but her she is-ready to take you on an adventure through colorful notes and beats, full of exciting twists and turns.
